Dianthus pseudocrinitus (Caryophyllaceae), a new species from Northeast of Iran identified by morphological and molecular data

摘要: A new species from southwest of Bojnord, NE Iran is described and illustrated here as Dianthus pseudocrinitus (Caryophyllaceae). This morphologically similar to D. crinitus subsp. turcomanicus , but can be distinguished the latter by bract number, width lower upper leaves, margin thickness outermost bracts, length calyx, anther, branches stem, type sheath leaf, tip shape petal fimbria. The also orientalis stenocalyx in terms floral characters, they differ several non- overlapping morphological characters. Results obtained data are consistent with those molecular phylogenetic trees based on sequences two copies DFR1 gene, confirming affinity .
