摘要: To ensure the equal segregation of chromosomes when a cell divides, erects bipolar scaffold, mitotic spindle, onto which attach and along sister chromatids separate. The positioning timing spindle formation must be carefully regulated for to equally segregated into two daughter cells. Recent studies have found that GTPase Ran may central role in regulating assembly. Ran·GTP can stimulate assembly vitro absence both centrosomes. regulates same way it facilitates nucleocytoplasmic transport; namely interaction specific proteins with nuclear transport receptors. Subsequently, was affect several processes involved including microtubule dynamics, pole assembly, motor protein activity. This chapter will focus on implications these data potential roles mitosis.
