摘要: Abstract Objective Diabetes mellitus occurs due to either deficiency of insulin or resistance insulin. Synthetic drugs and therapy against diabetes possess numerous drawbacks. Diabetic people are advised choose low-glycemic food herbal products control diabetes. This study aims examine the synergistic effects aqueous root Salep ofGymnadenia orchidis Lindl pumpkin seed powder on Streptozotocin induced diabetic mice. Methods Out 6 groups, animals in 2 groups were kept as rest 4 made by Streptozotocin. Animals one group supplemented with effective dose (200 mg/kg body weight) Salep, (5%) mixed food, another food. Changes various biochemical parameters, DNA damage liver kidney structures noted after 21 days treatment. Results supplementation significantly normalized alterations different parameters The blood cells mice was recovered this supplementation. Terpenoids anti-oxidants may play active role Conclusion synergistically prevent complications could be better type-2
