摘要: BACKGROUND Perioperative antibiotic prophylaxis (PAP) is recommended for the prevention of postoperative infections by Commission Hospital Hygiene and Infection Prevention (KRINKO) at Robert Koch Institute. However, how PAP currently used in field dermatosurgery Germany unclear. METHODS All members German Society Dermatosurgery (DGDC) were asked to participate a web-based survey order investigate use dermatological surgeons. RESULTS 78 DGDC completed questionnaire. Of these, 89.7 % (70/78) medical specialists with median work experience 15 years dermatosurgery, 53.8 % (42/78) respondents regularly dermatosurgery. 35.7 % (15/42) reported that they perform immunocompromised patients. Only small proportion skin surgeons stated administer parenterally (5.9 %, 4/67). The most commonly drug was cephalosporin cefuroxime. duration varied between single-dose prolonged administration more than five days. CONCLUSION Currently, dermatosurgical procedures not standardized. Prospective randomized studies are needed whether recommendations KRINKO applicable surgery.
