摘要: A multivariate morphometric study of the genus Sorbus, from 127 herbarium specimens in Europe and North Africa nine populations Spain, shows that twelve species may be easily recognized area: S. torminalis, latifolia, semiincisa, aria, intermedia, minima, sudetica, chamaemespilus, aucuparia, hybrida, meinichii domestica. Twenty-seven described taxa were very difficult to dis- criminate using standard morphological statistical methods. Some useful characters are: petiole length, leaf-nerve angle, leaf-tooth bud seed shape, fruit structure, presence tanniferous-cell groups, large sclereids starch grains fruit. The torminalis has a multi-layered cuticle, not previously reported Sorbus. We detected tetraploidy two other sexuals: aria chamaemespilus. geography population structure S C does permit their reproductive isolation; hence number intermediate forms occur. Considering difficulty assess- ing isolation microspecies differentiating them morphologically, use taxo- nomic concept is proposed Finally, key provided.
