摘要: We present the historical light curve of T Tau derived from photographic plates in Harvard College Observatory archives. find that optical varied by 2?3 (or more) mag on timescales as short a month prior to ~1917, consistent with 1949 results Lozinskii. Extreme fluctuations greater than 2 abruptly ceased late 1910s and, best our knowledge, have not repeated since this time. compare observed variations Tauri stars RY and RW Aur, whose curves we also constructed inspection archival plates. variable extinction along line sight star is most likely explanation for fluctuation during early part 20th century.
