The asymmetrical relationship between Canada United States began long time before NAFTA, study this could shed light on usual problems faced by Latin countries. This article attempts encourage discussion about topic. Particularly, there evidence for substantial positive change in Canadian productivity at Canada-US Free Trade Agreement (CUFTA). However, enactment (NAFTA) does not seem have had same effect earlier treaty.
