摘要: The process-based INCA model was applied to Dalelva Brook (3.2 km2) and the Bjerkreim River (685 including several subcatchments, in order test model’s ability simulate streamwater nitrate (NO 3 − ) dynamics output fluxes under highly contrasting climatic conditions nitrogen (N) loading. simulated runoff volumes mean NO3 - concentrations at were within +2 +10% of measured average during 1993–1995 (−19 +31% individual years). a great extent also reproduced observed flow both study sites (coefficient determination, r2 > 0.70). Temporal variation stream-water NO captured quite well by model, especially small catchments with distinct seasonal pattern (r 2 = 0.46−0.68). At outlet, relationship somewhat weaker 0.26, p < 0.01). Despite few situations where failed capture dynamics, proved be robust tool for simulating two catchments.
