摘要: Immunoglobulin (Ig) replacement therapy is effective in reducing infections patients with primary antibody deficiency (PAD). Diversity of specific antibodies achieved by pooling plasma from over 1000 donors usually a given geographic region. However, there no agreement regard to an optimal vaccination schedule for donors. Especially tick-borne encephalitis (TBE) regional rates differ widely among populations due the epidemiology disease. We analysed titres against TBE comparison total IgG levels 162 serum samples collected 110 PAD substituted polyvalent intravenous (IVIG) or subcutaneous (SCIG) IgG. Some received different products time leading number 122 patient-IgG product combinations. Positive TBE-specific were detected 35 cases when measured standard ELISA and could be confirmed demonstration neutralizing 31 cases. The detection correlated origin preparations. No detectable North American donors, whereas variable degrees anti-TBE observed receiving European countries. suggest considering patients’ personal risk selecting appropriate Ig preparation. These data support donation order address diverse local infection profile.
