摘要: We have studied the magnetization reversal process in perpendicularly magnetized ultrathin Pt/Co100−xBx/Pt films by means of magneto-optical magnetometry and microscopy. The addition boron enhances effective Barkhausen volume indicating a decrease domain-wall pinning site density and/or strength. This potentially reduces field critical current-density for depinning/motion, that could be an interesting candidate motion studies applications.
