The effect of different carbon reducing agents in synthesizing barium ferrite/magnetite nanocomposites

摘要: Abstract Carbon can be used as a reducing agent in mechano-chemical reactions mechanical milling. Some carbon sources have stronger power comparison to others. In this research mixtures of barium ferrite with different (carbon black, graphite and nanofiber) were milled high energy milling machine. The effect source characteristics on the partial reduction was studied. Phase analysis, particles morphology magnetic properties investigated via XRD, HRTEM, VSM, respectively. analysis showed that BaO.6(Fe2O3) black progressed Fe1-xO stage molar ratio C:O = 1.1 mixture. had best then better compared nanofiber. 40 h sample reached highest saturation magnetization 174.65 emu/g after vacuum heat treatment at 900 °C. HRTEM images nanocrystals Fe3O4 forms graphite.
