摘要: Arginine-vasopressin (AVP) is known to be involved in maintaining glucose homeostasis, and AVP-resistance observed poorly controlled non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus subjects, resulting a lowered plasma volume. Recently we reported that V1a vasopressin receptor-deficient (V1aR(-/-)) mice exhibited decreased circulating blood volume hypermetabolism of fat accompanied with impaired insulin-signaling. Here further investigated the roles AVP/V1a receptor regulating homeostasis using V1aR(-/-) mice. The levels at baseline or during tolerance test were higher than wild-type (WT) Moreover, hyperinsulinemic-euglycemic clamp revealed infusion rate was significantly lower WT hepatic production In contrast increased production, liver glycogen content mutant These results indicated had tolerance. Furthermore, feeding high-fat diet by calorie intake resulted overt obesity comparison addition, found aldosterone level mice, although AVP increased. suggested effect on water recruitment disturbed Thus, demonstrated one conditions from deficiency leads as well which can progress under intake.
