All-Angle Negative Refraction and Imaging Effects for Both Polarizations in Pure Dielectric Composite Two-Dimensional Photonic Crystals

摘要: Due to the band separation between two polarization modes, it is usually difficult realize all-angle negative refraction (AANR) for both polarizations from normal dielectric-rod or air-hole photonic crystals (PCs). In this letter, we propose a pure dielectric composite PC that shows much suppressed structures are quite useful formation of common frequency area AANR polarizations. Further simulations have first demonstrated and imaging effects in such can control property image by changing cutoff at surface termination thickness.
