摘要: Background To evaluate the efficacy of flow-diverting devices (FDDs) used in treatment for intracranial aneurysms (IAs), we performed a meta-analysis published literature on FDDs. Methods A systematic electronic database search was conducted using MEDLINE, PubMed, Springer, and EBSCO all accessible articles FDDs until December 2014. Abstracts, full-text manuscripts, reference lists retrieved were analyzed. Random effects to pool occlusion rate outcomes across studies. Results Fifty-nine studies containing data 2263 patients with more than 2493 treated included analysis. The overall complete 82.5% (95% CI, 78.8%–86%) success FDD implantation 97.4% 95.4%–99.4%). anterior circulation 83.3% 71.2%–95.4%); regard occlusion, odds ratio significantly higher that posterior IAs (odds ratio, 1.93; 95% 1.00–3.73). Conclusions have high technical rates management IAs. Additional well-designed, multicenter, randomized controlled trials will be required validate findings present study identify best therapeutic strategy depending their size, location, characteristics.
