摘要: Abstract The expulsion of flux from flat samples (ribbons and discs) Nb, NbTa, V PbIn cooling, Tc to 4.2 K, in static magnetic fields, H o , has been investigated. A dramatic increase the component threading specimen parallel its faces is observed when tilted pierce these broad surfaces. We attribute this phenomenon extinction a surface barrier against exit by H⊥, transverse . effect B⊥ = μoH⊥ on profiles also examined. concept equilibrium diamagnetism applied novel situation. simple picture, incorporating prevailing views, developed.
