摘要: African swine fever (ASF), caused by virus, is a hemorrhagic and often fatal disease of domestic pigs wild boar, which notifiable to the World Organization for Animal Health. On August 3, 2018, China reported first outbreak ASF in Shenyang, northeastern city China. As October 8, total 33 outbreaks were eight provinces China, biggest pork producer consumer world. This commentary summarizes current situation measures that has taken control disease, lessons learnt from other countries, challenges recommendations on possible international collaborations ASF. an unprecedented disaster challenge Chinese industry. It will be formidable protracted campaign requires joint participation coordination stakeholders agencies at different levels.
