摘要: Gain and phase dynamics induced by ultra-short pulse in semiconductor optical amplifiers operating counter-propagating scheme are numerically investigated employing a field propagation model. The numerical model accounts for the carrier depletion, heating, spectral hole burning gain dispersion. Propagating schemes have significant influences on dynamics, especially ultrafast dynamics. Compared to co-propagating, causes reduced Relatively slow saturation processes observed. Analysis results show drive currents active lengths of main factors influencing processes.
