Application of input shaping control strategy for reducing chatter noise in the automotive wiper system

摘要: Chatter is one of the unwanted noises generated during wiper operation. It a low frequency and self-excited vibration that often before after reverses direction. This leads to poor visibility an annoying sound driver passengers. paper intends propose control technique capable reducing chatter noise in automotive windshield system. In doing so, existing two-dimensional mathematical model system adopted. MATLAB Simulink then used simulate response wiper. The simulated results are verified by those obtained experiment. With model, strategy, namely, input shaping introduced. found can reduce level approximately 30 percents over without scheme.
