摘要: We report an efficient source of near- and mid-infrared radiation based on a periodically poled lithium niobate (PPLN) optical parametric oscillator (OPO). The pump was 15 ns pulse duration, 20 kHz repetition rate Q-switched diode-pumped neodymium laser. Resonated signals in the range 1465-1565 nm were generated, with corresponding idler wavelengths 3323-3885 nm. highest output power achieved 1.5 W at 1547 nm, 0.72 wavelength 3408 This represents optical-to-optical conversion efficiency 42% from incident to total OPO output. A minimum energy threshold 37.5 µJ measured. beam quality both signal outputs degraded only slightly respect beam.
