摘要: Duckweeds (Lemnaceae), rapidly growing floating aquatic plants with a high protein content, are becoming more and promising in waste water treatment and/or as an animal feed. An attempt has been made to develop the optimal harvest strategy for obtaining maximum yields from duckweed stands. Usually, only discrete harvests several day intervals feasible end solution of problem is not entirely trivial. Under given intrinsic growth rate determined by climatic conditions non-limiting mineral resources, yield depends on initial biomass both size frequency harvest. The multi-stage harvesting model Elizarov Svirezev (1972) based logistic function was used predictions were compared experimental data. highest total giant (Spirodela polyrhiza) obtained arbitrarily chosen regime fell short predicted possible yield, calculated using same sequence intervals, 27.2%.
