摘要: Citizen science is becoming an effective approach in building a new relationship between and society, which the desire of citizens to participate actively knowledge production meets needs researchers. A citizen initiative dealing with development photovoltaics (PV) presented. To generate “responsible” initiative, research question has been designed collectively from beginning, involving diverse actors order encourage creativity while addressing their interests concerns. The result called Generation Solar. It aims at co-creating open database PV installations including technical characteristics, online map for visualizing them. responds clear scientific demand; important drawback researchers working on energy modelling predictions lays precisely lack information about these installations’ locations characteristics. invites citizens, companies public institutions installation collaborate by providing such data. Data will follow format Open Power System be fully exploitable community society. success rely capacity mobilize register largest possible number worldwide.
