摘要: For many years, species of the Mirid genus Lygus (Hahn) have been known as destructive pests crops. Of these species, L. hesperus Knight is probably most important in western regions United States and Canada. It attacks reproductive parts—buds, flowers developing seed—of crop plants, well sucking sap from leaves stems. However, on seeds are important. According to Butler, must feed plant parts, or a sugar source, for reproduction. Also, Bryan et al. report that, laboratory, will reproduce faster when supplied with source animal protein.
