摘要: We present a collaborative research project called CI-WATER which involves consortium of Utah and Wyoming researchers. The objective the is to acquire develop hardware software cyberinfrastructure (CI) support development use large-scale, high-resolution computational water resources models enable comprehensive examination integrated system behavior through physically-based, data-driven simulation. scientific problem that this addresses is: How are quality availability sensitive climate variability, watershed alterations, management activities? CI challenge we addressing can best structure data computer address high-performance data-intensive computing by discipline scientists coming without extensive algorithmic knowledge experience? thus aims broaden application HPC techniques into domain modeling.
