Life History Variation in Geranium carolinianum. 1. Covariation between Characters at Different Stages of the Life Cycle

摘要: Seeds of Geranium carolinianum were collected according to common female parent from three populations, and then planted back with identification labels in a randomized block design into one the original populations. Seven individuals per family destructively harvested at stages life cycle-early juvenile, late adult-and same traits measured each stage. The genetic correlations between early juvenile adult negative, age-specific characters fecundity changed during cycle became positive later life. Positive phenotypic found these characters. implications for history evolution different are discussed.
