摘要: Plant-based vaccination strategies have the potential to overcome limitations of current measles vaccine. The virus hemagglutinin (MV-H) protein has been expressed in tobacco. Oral immunisation mice with plant-derived MV-H resulted MV-specific antibodies and secretory IgA, indicative humoral mucosal immune responses. In addition, boosting oral following a DNA prime, greater response than could be induced either vaccine alone. Collectively, this research represents significant step towards an effective that would temperature-stable, easy administer amenable inexpensive manufacture.
