摘要: The cardiovascular system changes acutely to the stresses of exercise support increased metabolic demand working tissues. This is accomplished through augmentation several parameters including heart rate, blood pressure, and vascular tone such as arterial stiffness. Exercise training has been shown elicit in stiffness but acute effects on have not thoroughly studied. current study examined no (control), aerobic (30 minutes cycling at ~70% maximum rate), resistance minutes, 3 sets 10 repetitions for 6 exercises) healthy males (n=11) utilizing measures carotid-femoral pulse wave velocity analysis rest during recovery 60 minutes. sessions utilized were consistent with American College Sports Medicine guidelines individuals. Carotid-femoral demonstrated significant change from resting values throughout any activities (~9 m·s). Systemic (corrected a rate 75 bpm) significantly higher post-resistance than control initially (34.2 ± 10.3% vs. 14.2 10.9% 3.2 12.7%, p<0.05) remained statistically recovery. These results indicate that alone resulted an increase systemic lasted least In contrast, neither or activity elicited regional Further studies may clarify time course mechanisms following chronic various modalities intensities.
