摘要: Despite efforts made to produce plant secondary metabolites from cell suspensions, only a few industrial applications have been successful. Generally, higher yields are obtained when cultivating organs (roots or leafy stems) instead of undifferentiated cells. In this case, new problems arise because the structure material, and special bioreactors be built for such applications. Furthermore, high cost commercial may limit number available researcher carry out many experiments in parallel. Because this, we developed very low system (i.e; bioreactors) that allows good growth Ruta graveolens L. shoots production (i.e. furanocoumarins). The development simple auto-priming siphon use common jars ranging 3 20 litres temporary immersion cultures. home-made bioreactor scientists run different at same time. It thus saves time optimising culture medium parameters replicating trials before reaching step final with highly equipped (costly) bioreactors.
