摘要: The timing of puberty generally differs between sexes, and this may be due to sex differences in the organization steroid feedback systems. We propose that reproductive neuroendocrine default is female. If individual male, control GnRH secretion programmed early development, pubertal rise either advanced or delayed depending upon species. This developmental programming by androgens. Early also reorganizes adult function change a pattern cyclic gamete release (periodic ovulations) requiring multiple systems continuous one (spermatogenesis) only negative control. underlying complex ovulatory cycle are innate, male unnecessary feedbacks abolished rendered less sensitive during development estrogenic, as well androgenic metabolites testosterone.
