摘要: Abstract Thermal degradation of five phosphonium cation-based ionic liquids ([P 66614 ][BEHP], [P ][(iC 8 ) 2 PO ], ][NTf 44414 ][DBS] and 4442 ][DEP]) was studied using dynamic methodology (25–600 °C at 5, 10 20 °C/min) in both inert (nitrogen) reactive (oxygen) atmospheres. In addition, isothermal experiments (90 min 200, 225 250 °C) were carried out with ]. Results indicate that thermal stability is clearly dominated by the coordination ability anion, ] outperforming other ones pyrolytic oxidising conditions. Although mechanism affected atmospheric conditions, trend remains practically constant. As usually overestimates long-term stability, an isoconversional better for predicting these order to be used as base oil or additive lubricants formulation. Finally, model-free can predict lower costs ILs performance
