摘要: We use and extend our previously published physical model of low-energy particle fluxes in the Earth's radiation belts [Boscher et al., 1998] to study four components temporal variations belt fluxes: secular variation, related that magnetic field; solar cycle modulation; storm effects; proton events. Our previous model, initially developed for equatorially mirroring particles, has been extended higher energies order reproduce (1) influence on very high energy particles (around 100 MeV) at low altitudes (2) effects induced by strong active periods protons with between 1 50 MeV. The good agreement found results observations shows can be a safe contribution future development engineering models will able both long-term trapped (to define mission specifications) short-term fluctuations understand in-flight satellite anomalies).
