摘要: Abstract The pressure, temperature and density drops along SFC columns eluted with a CO 2 /methanol mobile phase were measured compared theoretical values. For packed 3- 5-μm particles the pressure using of 95% 5% methanol at flow rate 5 mL/min, temperatures from 20 to 100 °C, outlet pressures 80 300 bar. drop was calculated based on column inlet outlet. suspended in circulating air bath, either bare or covered foam insulation. experimental measurements results obtained by numerical simulation. convective condition above 100 bar average difference between 0.1 °C 0.7% for 3-μm column, respectively, 0.6 °C 4.1% insulated column. observed are consistent those predicted Joule–Thomson coefficients isenthalpic expansion. dependence coefficient kinematic viscosity described carbon dioxide phases containing up 20% methanol.
