摘要: Abstract Lightweight design is a major trend in automotive large-scale production. The introduction of innovative materials and combinations, e.g. through hybrid components, driven by ambitious emission targets addressing the vehicles’ use phase. Various options as well potential tradeoffs to other life cycle phases demand sophisticated decision support. presented research addresses current processes OEM engineering service providers on component level. Structured workshops serve method towards identifying, characterizing generalizing points, preparatory activities interfaces alongside product development. obtained results build foundations for development IT supported tools.
