摘要: Recent observations have shown what is believed to be planet-induced chromospheric activity on stars with hot Jupiters. We present a model of the magnetic interaction between planet and star dipolar field. Reconnection fields accelerates electrons along field lines that connect planet. By determining locations at which these stellar surface, we can surface pattern response planet‐star interaction. find inclination rotation axis determines magnitude emission, while misalignment axes produces phase shift peak observed emission where directly in front star.
