摘要: Introduction. New Delhi metallo-β-lactamase (NDM)-producing Klebsiella pneumoniae has become a serious global health concern.Hypothesis/Gap Statement. Due to the high genetic diversity among NDM-positive K. pneumoniae, we need further surveillance and studies better understand relationships between them. In addition, coexistence of several plasmid replicon types in may affect copy number bla NDM, MIC level antibiotics, as well increasing chance horizontal gene transfer.Aim. The aim this study was determine incompatible groups numbers investigate relationship 37 Kerman, Iran.Methodology. NDM-1 detected confirmed by PCR-sequencing. were determined PCR-based typing (PBRT) quantitaive real time-PCR (qPCR). Random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD)-PCR used detect strains.Results. study, 10 different types, including Frep [n=25 (67.5 %)], FIIAs [n=11 (29.7 FIA [n=5 (13.5 FIB [n=3 (8.1 I1-Iγ [n=2 (5.4 L/M [n=7 (18.9 A/C Y P [n=1 (2.7 %)] FIC reported. varied from 30.00 5.0×106 no statistically significant correlation observed rise imipenem (P>0.05). According RAPD results, 35 strains divided into five clusters, while two non-typeable.Conclusion. spread NDM-1-producing that carry increases transfer antibiotic resistance genes hospital settings. identified. We could not find any increase levels NDM-1. Therefore, due identification type characteristics NDM-1-carrying plasmids, other factors such selective pressure, probably change imipenem.
