摘要: Unresolved debates on the application of allocation methods constitute a major source uncertainty in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) results. Some ways to deal with this issue are standardization, sensitivity analysis and scenario modeling. Standardization reduces uncertainty, while latter two serve analyze system using one at time order show range possible outcomes. However, full outcomes given all choices has never been shown. This can be misleading when evaluating environmental impacts production system, particularly comparing systems. We investigate use Monte-Carlo simulations as statistical approach for analyzing propagation LCA outcomes, depending choice method. In approach, probability occurrence is assigned each method, multi-functional process system. The sampled according simulations. frequency LCI was analyzed without including data both cases. results influence many combinations besides uncertainty. Further implementation more complex systems broader LCIA required.
