摘要: A cw photomodulation technique has been applied to study the photoexcitation of a form soluble polyacetylene with controlled conjugation length. We have able change average length from few hundred units down 20 units. systematic blue-shift photoinduced absorption spectra is observed upon decreasing electronic delocalization. The linear dependence shift charged soliton band on discussed in terms two different limiting models describe properties polyenes, namely single-particle Su-Schrieffer-Heeger Hamiltonian and Hubbard Hamiltonian.
