摘要: In order to assess direct seeding of rice technology cope with future agricultural labor shortage in Cambodia, agronomic experiments were conducted 2005 and 2006 compare transplanting under three water conditions (non-flooded, shallow flooded, deep flooded conditions) with/without weed control by herbicides (bentazone cyhalofop-butyl) for two Cambodian varieties (shorter stature early maturity Sen Pidao, taller longer Phka Rumduol). Average yield 2 years was lower (341 g m−2) than (404 m−2), but interaction components year, varieties, conditions, management significant, the attained maximum (510 464 m−2 Rumduol variety condition weeding 2006, respectively) similar that transplanting. Plant length dry weight reduced non-flooded compared condition, grain highest condition. Yield advantage over Pidao increased seeding, particularly because infestation more suppressed even without weeding. Increase 100 prior heading (dry basis) about 20% attainable control. This study identified importance growth duration presence standing as well control, develop extend Cambodia.
