摘要: For a long time, it was unclear, how many types of glial cells occur in the nervous system amphibians. Studies on were mainly based metallic impregnation methods and electron microscopy, which did not always yield unequivocal results. The application modern immunocytochemical techniques led to an unambiguous identification all three found other vertebrates: astrocytes (radial free astrocytes), oligodendrocytes, microglia. In this chapter, we present recent data these amphibians, with emphasis involvement regeneration processes central peripheral system.
