摘要: The dipole moments of propargyl chloride, bromide and monochlorobutyne in the gaseous state are measured to be 1.65D,1.52D 2.17D respectively. moment chloride considerably smaller than saturated one even though correction C≡C—C skeletal is taken into account. This consistent with —CH2Cl group dichlorobutyne obtained preceding work. These results inconsistent resonance scheme presented by Pauling et al. for halide. anomaly considered as a characteristic feature molecules having triple bonds this kind. By taking all dichloro- monochlorobutynes account, bond moments, induction direction resultants, predicted shown Fig. 1.
