摘要: Pulse transit time (PTT) is a non-invasive measure of arterial compliance. It can be used to assess instantaneous blood pressure (BP) changes in continual cardiovascular measurement such as during overnight respiratory sleep studies. In these studies, periodic limb position occur randomly. However, little known about their possible effects on PTT monitored the various limbs. The objective this study was evaluate differences all four limbs two positional (lowering and raising limb). Ten healthy adults (seven male) with mean age 27.0 years were recruited study. results showed that underwent change had significant (p 0.05). value measured from vertically-raised increased by 42.7 ms, while it decreased 28.1 ms half-lowered limb. observed contributed complex interactions between hydrostatic changes, autonomic local autoregulation experienced Hence findings herein suggest able reflect circulatory responses despite other This useful prolonged clinical observations where movements are expected.
