摘要: In traditional cuban medicine, pomegranate fruits have been used to treat acidosis, dysentery, microbial infections, diarrhoea, helminthiasis; haemorrhage and respiratory pathologies [Vuorela et al., 2003; Roig, 1974; Jimenez 1979; Seoane, 1984].Pomegranates contain high levels of Polyphenolic compounds, which are largely responsible for the fruit’s antioxidant properties. A number studies demonstrated that polyphenolic complexes derived from other plants antiviral effects, suggesting activity may also reside in polyphenol (PP) fraction pomegranates. The decay organic matter generates an extremely heterogeneous mixture molecules referred as humic substances. They sub-classified on basis solubility characteristics. Fulvic Acid (FA) substances includes a variety low molecular acidic soluble water under all pH conditions. Antiviral fulvic acid containing Secomet V against poxviruses SARS has [Kotwal 2006]. current study was undertaken evaluate direct anti-influenza virus constituents present Pomegranate Extracts: Juice (PJ) Liquid Extract (POMxl), Polyphenol enriched Powder (POMxp) (FA). Both Extracts had activity. With regard Extracts, extracts rapid when combined with influenza virus. acidity PJ POMxl solutions contributed activity, but this not factor POMxp. Studies using POMxp showed brief treatment at room
