摘要: The infrared spectrum of polyethylene has been obtained between about 3000 cm—1 and 70 cm—1, polarization measurements on oriented specimens having to 350 cm—1. Assignments the fundamentals are made with help a group theory analysis. assignment controversial CH2 wagging mode is discussed in detail especially terms new evidence from spectra n‐paraffins, both as single crystals polycrystalline aggregates.
