摘要: In the rat adrenalectomy decreases cardiac output, stroke volume, and left ventricular work when these are measured one, three, seven days after operation. Arterial blood pressure is normal on first third because of a compensatory increase in total peripheral resistance. On seventh day animals were showing obvious adrenocortical insufficiency there was marked fall pressure. Substitution 0·9% NaC1 solution for drinking water improves function postoperative day. Cardiac all greater than maintained, adrenalectomized approach levels. The normal. These apparently healthy, ate well, growing.
