摘要: The conversion of acetyl-CoA to HMG-CoA was measured by a radioenzymatic assay in which the product is derivatized its bis(p-nitrobenzyl)ester and separated from substrate TLC. enzymatic applied post-mitochondrial supernatants corpora allata homogenates cockroach, Diploptera punctata. apparent KM for 200 μM. enzyme activity during cycle JH synthesis adult mated females. synthase followed pattern juvenile hormone III closely with peak on day 5 (1.89 ± 0.07 nmol/h/pair-eq.), decline occurred earlier than that reductase.
