A correlational study of resilience and social support among National Guard/Reserve families

摘要: Although systemic research on National Guard and Reserve (NGR) spouses families does not exist, the situation is due to change given expansive role of NGR service members in combat operations over last decade. In addition, exploring effects deployment family resilience social support limited. The present study employed a predictive correlational design determine relationship between for five predictor variables (distance from military base or unit, number children home, employment status spouse, rank member, neighborhood tenure). A sample 110 with history across 36 states completed webbased survey instrument. No significant relationships were found any variables. results indicate that moderately high, as level support.
