摘要: A quasi-three-di mensional integral method is used to solve the problem of isothermal incompressible turbulent jet. The jet submerged and circular at its origin. mathematical model based on two momentum equations, one written for a direction parallel centerline other perpendicular centerline. For their solution, entrainment rate into determined as linear combination modified straight vortex pair. family velocity profiles required integration equations three-dimensional. are along basis distorted cross sections, thus being nonsimilar. numerically solved, yielding internal flowfield. Results compared experiments with different injection crossflow ratios angles. Agreement between theory experiment found be satisfactory in some cases good others.
