Topological Map Based Algorithms for 3D Image Segmentation

摘要: One of the most commonly used approach to segment a 2D image is split and merge approach. In this paper, we are defining these two operations in 3D within topological maps framework. This mathematic model regions segmented representation allows us define algorithms local generic way. Moreover, new operation, corefining, which treat big images. They cut into small units, treated separately, then result each them combined reconstruct final representation. These three let view efficient segmentation algorithms, difficult problem due size data treat.
