摘要: From its’ conception, 4-H has encouraged volunteerism and utilized volunteers to accomplish mission - assist youth in acquiring knowledge, developing life skills, forming attitudes that will enable them become self-directing, productive contributing members of society. The purpose this study was explore describe the factors motivated [state] camp volunteer with youth. Volunteer Functions Inventory used as theoretical base for study. Values construct (M=3.68) VFI highest motivating factor adult volunteers. Understanding (M=3.39) ranked second motivational followed by Social (M=3.28), Enhancement (M = 3.05) Protective (M=2.78). Career (M=2.61) least It also found participants were not involved a volunteered more days per year than did who former members.
