摘要: Spectral singularities are spectral points that spoil the completeness of eigenfunctions certain non-Hermitian Hamiltonian operators. We identify complex scattering potentials with real energies at which reflection and transmission coefficients tend to infinity, i.e., they correspond resonances having a zero width. show waveguide modeled using such potential operates like resonator frequencies singularities. As concrete example, we explore an imaginary PT-symmetric barrier demonstrate above resonance phenomenon for electromagnetic waveguide.
