摘要: Traditional use of plants from the Northeastern part India has been documented for decades’ altogether. The ethnic community still depend upon their indigenous knowledge healing ailments (both intrinsic and extrinsic). study documents usage 31 medicinal plant species belonging to 26 families genera by Lushai tribes Northeast India. was done through structured questionnaires in consultations with tribal practitioners. aboveground parts higher (79.06%) than underground (20.93%). Leaf used majority cases (23 species), followed fruit (4). However, different forms such as root, tuber, rhizome, bulb pseudo-bulb were also found be tribe a medicine. About 41 types have reported cured using these species. thus emphasizes need pursue meticulous ethnobotanical research finding solutions major fatal diseases ensure its application improving human health medical care facilities.
